Please keep your dogs leashed and don't let them run loose

With the coming influx of seasonal residents and their pets, please be courteous and don’t let your pets run loose—and please pick up after them, both outside and in personal patios.
Loose dogs and residents who don't pick up their pet's droppings are common complaints to the HOA. Please keep your pets leashed when on campus. Your dog may be fine, but other dogs might be a problem. Pets can run unleashed in the dog area by the tennis courts.
The HOA has also received complaints about neighbors who let their dogs defecate on personal patios and don't clean it up, causing noxious smells and increased presence of flies. Please don't store dog poop on your patio. Clean it up and dump it.
Also, be aware that not all dog droppings can be blamed on sloppy or neglectful residents. Our area has a large array of wildlife, particularly coyotes and bobcats, who often leave "presents" on the path or grass. Two German Shepherd dogs regularly come from across the north wash. While friendly, the dogs’ owner lets them roam and they come here to do their business. If you see loose dogs, please call the city’s Animal Control office at (928) 855-4111.
Because dog control is part of HOA rules, violations may result in fines and penalties.
