Denovan Donates $500 to HOA

The Los Lagos Vistas HOA Social Committee accepted a $500 donation from the Denovan Group, part of the agency's community-service program, during the coffee social Saturday, Jan. 3, at the pool.

The program, Sold on Giving (www.SoldOnGiving.com), returns a portion of every home sale to charities and community-service organizations on behalf of their clients. The popular Realtors represented Connie Sue Vergine's recent home sale. A former HOA Board member who was very active in the community, Connie designated the Los Lagos Vistas HOA Social Committee's Special Projects Fund to receive the funds. She moved north recently to help with family.

Connie's unit had been with a previous agency but didn't sell, even when it was listed at a lower price.

On hand to present the check were Linda Denovan and her daughter, Sammy Denovan, and a new group agent, Kaylea Bashaw.

A number of neighborhood improvements have been funded by the Social Committee, including added patio seating at the pool, new lounge cushions, and tables, and other amenities.
