HOA Board Meetings Start Oct. 16

The HOA Board of Directors is taking on a full work agenda this season to meet its mission of creating a vibrant community that enhances property values, enables neighborhood security and safety, and provides amenities that contribute to an excellent quality of life.
Meetings are 6 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month through April at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center, 100 Park Ave.
The first meeting will be in Room 153/154 in the center’s main hall, but all the other meetings will be in the larger Room 155/156 with the outside entrance from the center’s rear parking lot. A location for the Annual Meeting in February is being determined because the Aquatic Center has blocked all reservations for that month.
Homeowners are encouraged to participate as the Board will be taking on large projects in the coming budget year, including carport refurbishments. This is expected to be a large and expensive undertaking. The plan is to complete all units under a selected solution using existing funds and reserves and avoiding assessment or dues increases. However, the Board will seek bids and dependable contractors before any spending decisions are made.
Other goals for the Board include ongoing maintenance, landscaping improvements, and continued water conservation. The pool and rec area and its courts are also part of HOA maintenance goals. The Board also may be addressing smoking problems at the pool.
A key achievement this year has been the expedited completion of the perimeter path, thanks to Lake Havasu City water-conservation grant funds.
