Problems with continuing water leaks will require a complete complex water shut off about 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 26. The water should only be off long enough to replace a valve in Circle 2, after initial repairs were completed earlier this week to stop water loss.

The Circle 2 leak was significant and required immediate action to get under control, thanks to our quick-acting Maintenance Team and Dave Still. A new valve had to be secured to complete the repair, which will be installedTuesday.

Circle 7 Work Pending

The Circle 3 water shut-off is not related to the water main installation and repairs underway in Circle 7. That project was delayed because parts had to be secured and schedules rearranged. The 4-inch water main repair into Circle 7 also may require a short total-complex shutdown to replace a bad valve at the Montana Vista connection and connect the new line.

Lindsay Excavation will install the new Circle 7 main line and connect it to the primary line that goes up Montana Vista. A new trench into Circle 7 with appropriate sand bedding to buffer against line movement and breakage will hold the new lines. The installation will be a total replacement of existing lines and will be set up on a separate track to reduce the need for long water shutdowns.

That shutoff will only be long enough to install a new valve and connect up the new main line into Circle 7. The entire complex may experience a brief water shutdown while that work is completed.
