The final phase of installation of a new water line into Circle 7 begins about 4 a.m. Tuesday. Water lines need to be depressurized to install a new valve where the new line connects to the main line going up Montana Vista.

The project will result in brand new water lines into the circle and to each building. Circle 7 has had frequent large scale leaks because of aging materials and past fixes.

Residents who need to have water on Tuesday morning should fill up bottles to have for drinking or refilling toilets. Take showers Monday night so you won't have to in the morning. Fill up coffee pots or pans for tea. Or splurge for a hotel and coast through the morning.

The valve installation and connecting all the new lines should only take a few hours, but the contractor cautions that problems could be revealed that might have to be addressed and take more time.

The HOA is investing in water repairs because of ongoing leaks and the discovery that the complex is losing 2,400 to 3,000 gallons per hour of leakage.
