Don't Ride Bikes on Path

Bike riding will destroy the Perimeter Path.

The Los Lagos Vistas Perimeter Path was recently completed, but it is not designed to handle bike traffic. Riding bikes on the path can break up the compacted dirt and destroy five years of volunteer and paid work.

Bike riding on the path also creates a safety issue as it conflicts with pedestrians, and maneuvering in some of the path's narrow stretches threatens landscaping and other work.

The path was designed to provide a safe area for residents to walk without having to be vulnerable to car traffic and Happy Hour returnees. It also offers a neighborly connection around the entire complex, about a mile around.

As of now, there is no HOA rule or penalty set for bike riding on the path, but if more complaints are received that could change.
